Bike Day is for everyone (visitors and staff), including free activities for both adults and children. Free activities will include Dr Bike maintenance checks, Transport for London's cycling and walking roadshow and bike security marking and crime prevention advice provided by the Metropolitan Police. There will also be prize draws/ competitions and the opportunity to sign up for free 1-2-1 cycle skills training.Find out more »
Is it possible to circle the city within the ring road avoiding traffic lights? This 11 mile cycle route achieves that, going along quiet city roads and the canal and river avoiding any traffic lighted junctions and using Pelican and Toucan crossings to cross main roads. This is a unique take on the popular Sportive format for regular distance bike riders.The 140 mile Team Relay cycling challenge event is for Teams of 2 or 3 riders, who will take turns to ride 6 stages of nearly equal distance on public roads. Each Team member rides their chosen stages of the route, while a Team mate drives to the next stage point in what will be the riders' personal support vehicle.
