A gentle social ride along the Promenade from Bournemouth Pier to Shore Road Poole. This ride is largely traffic free and is low speed, so no one gets left behind! There are lovely views of the Beach and Poole Bay during the ride. We stop for 10-15 minutes at Shore Road to enjoy the view and then return to Bournemouth Pier.
This is called Ride 2, as on the outward leg we should be joined by riders on Ride 1 who start earlier and are riding from Poole to Bournemouth and back.
Please note. You ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. Pedestrians have priority on traffic free sections and there is a maximum speed in these areas of 10 mph. There may be some sand on the path on parts of the route. The ride will not take place if there are strong winds and/or heavy rain.
