Inspired by the Discover East Bristol project and it’s informative website we go in search of various green spaces. From the broad open views from Troopers Hill to the shaded woodlands of Magpie Bottom we use quiet roads and tracks to link the sites. Following the green corridor of the Bristol-Bath Railway path the open grasslands of Ridgeway give way to the dense woodland and spectacular rock formations above the river Frome valley.
